Maybank Debit Card Scam!!
Just a reminder to all....
Just now I receive a call from someone claiming to be from an insurans company. A lady. Die cakap dorg tgh lancarkan promo ke ape tah. Nak award takaful insurans kemalangan diri worth RM100,000 kepada debit card holder yang terpilih.Then die mintak details about my debit card. Being skeptical, I asked HER my details. Then background die bising sgt so mmg xclear ape yg die cakap. dala kol tibe2 bitau nak bg insurans la,ape lah... Hello. Introduce ko daripada mana pun x alih2 nak tanya2 plak. Ni yg da start hangin ni... Bile that girl da bosan, die pass kat this one guy.
Ok..he explained la psl nak award insurans, debit cardholder yg terpilih, bla, bla, bla..... Then die mtk izin nak verify my details. I said ok. He asked my debit card from which bank. I asked him back, "u nak award me for my debit card so u kenela tau i gune debit card bank mane. U tau x ni?". He answered Maybank. Ok... Fair enough. Then die tanya gune debit card kaler hitam-kuning ke yg gambar cherry. Heloo!!!! Kalau kaler hitam-kuning bukan debit card. 2 namenye kad ATM la sengallllll...........
Then he proceed...mintak i bitau kad 2 valid sampai bile. What month,what year...ok. I told him (but actually i lied about the month. I bitau bulan lain). Hahahaha. Then he proceed mintak my card punye serial no. I said no. I want him to quote my serial no. He only said the first 8 pas2 mintak i verify the remaining 8 (which i lied also. i change 2 no.hahahahaha). Lastly he asked for the 3digit at the back of my card. This one is my final draw.
Of course la xnak bagi. That no is like our password ok! Same goes for credit card holder.. Never EVER reveal this!! When I refuse die beria2 cakap dorg just nak tau kad ni kad keberapa dikeluarkan. Hello!! Like I'm a fool kan? I said, " Sorry. I can't real this no to u. If u have this no u can use it to do transaction online". And he repeatedly cakap die xtipu, cume nak verify my details and all...Does he think I'm stupid?? Bile aku xnak reveal jugak die da mule nak marah saying "watpe saye nak tipu, kalau saye tipu saye da letak fon da mase awak tanya2 tadi". But bile i firmly saying "Takpelah. saye da ade insurans, saye ade sampai 3-4 insurans pun nak watpe..saye tak berminat". All he kept asking is my 3digit no... WTF!!! In the end die hang up je bile I still don't wat to reveal that no. Isn't it obvious??Bodoh betul!
Then I proceed to call Maybank. Maybank pun satu hal. Bile customer kol, nak verify ape2..U should treat them well ok!!I think her name is Sue. Xbagi full name pun. Hampeh je....I asked about whether Maybank ade collaborate ngan insurance company ke ape..and I told her what happen. She only answered Maybank xkan mintak details customer sbb dorg da ade details tu. I know la!! That's why I call & asked if they reveal our details to other company. Then I asked her for solution. Camne nak tau if ade org access our account through online transaction. She said xkan tau sebab debit card xsame dengan credit which bank akan call utk verify kalau ade transaction besar2. Fair enough...
Then she kept saying " Puan xsepatutnye reveal no pada kad puan kalau puan tak percaya pada orang yang call tu". I know la!! That's why I xreveal all!! But its better to be safe than sorry kn? Ko ingat duit kat dalam bank aku tu ade 8juta ke sampai aku xkisah kalau org gune? Dala nak kawin nih!2 je la duit yg ade. Dala gaji pun masuk situ.. Kalau die sapu mase gaji masuk nnt camne? Kan naya tu..................
Kesimpulannya... Maybank memang xkan membantu korg kalau kene online or telephone scam. Dorg cume lepas tangan je! Alasan die salah user. Padahal org kol tanya camne nak protect our own account pun dorg xnak tolong.
Lucky I'm a genius. Hahahahaha... I already cleared up my account then transfer to my CIMB account. Tinggalkan 95sen je. Kalau die nak sapu,anggaplah tu sedekah, Upah sbb kene torture tadi. Hahahahahaha.... Pasni nak pegi Maybank. Cancelkan debit card ni then buat yg baru..Ceh. Terbang RM12 aku. Tapi takpe lah...janji duit aku yg lain selamat....Huhuhu......

omg.i so cuak ok.sbb br2 ni dual card credit maybank tu call i.i dlu sj gatal click fb yg promo tu.1st caller kata i tak layak so takpe la tak penting pn card credit tu.then 2nd person kata layak n i bg address nk collect mana etc.tp smpai arini takde pn suh collect credit card bwh ofis i je maybank Bndr Utama ni.msl nk g tye..as long as duit i tak penah kene tarik tak pelah ngahaha.sial la maybank ni

ReplyDeletekita slalu dpt call psal privilege card apatah utk pemegang kad visa terpilih yg aktif. pastu tanya kad visa dr bank mana. klu btl tau kita pki visa, mesti blh tau bank mana kan. bila kita tanya dia utk kad visa kita yg bank mana satu, dh tergagap nk ckp bank mn.. takut salah sebot bank la tuuu. hahahah. ada yg kurg ajar terus letak tepon bila dh kantoi cmtu.
ReplyDeleteSame goes dengan orang yang nak tawarkan pakej percutian. Rilla pernah dapat call tu. But not sure scam ke bukan. Just to be safe, jangan reveal 3 nombor tu.
